The local home school chess team needed a logo for their team t-shirt. We created this old school logo based on the Sawhorse font over at FontStruct. The team loved it and looked great in the tshirts at the state chess tournament.

Thumbdive is an social application that gives it’s members the unique ability to create private networks of friends and family and stay connected throughout the day. When you’re a pioneer, your brand ages fast.
This happened to the Elijah Company, one of the oldest home school resource companies in the country. Over a period of 20 years, the company’s mission expanded to include counseling, seminars, travel and publishing. Their visual identity and collateral were stuck in the 1980’s. We crafted a new identity to reflect their new mission.

They were poor little lambs who had lost their way. Baah. Baah.
Hopefully we helped them find it. Avoiding the typical grunge skate cliché, we struck a happy medium with the Blacksheep Skate and Surf company brand. Somewhat rebellious yet mildly traditional, we wanted the brand to speak to extreme sports enthusiasts with a little tongue–in–cheek. (Note: the grass background is not part of the ad.)
